Innate Botanical Selection certified practitioner
All animals have an innate ability to self-medicate, by foraging for plants, fungi, soils, and insects to prevent or reduce the harmful effects of pathogens, toxins and other animals.
Many scientists believe(d) that domesticated animals have lost this ability but resent research has shown that this is not true. The problem with domesticated animals is that they don’t have the opportunity to self-medicate as there are no plants to forage for as we put them in controlled environments like stables, yards or mono-culture pastures.
There are two ways you can help your animals to give them the opportunity to practice their wonderful skills to self-medicate.
One is by introducing a big diversity of botanicals in their environment they live, creating a place where they can forage to self-medicate.
The other way you can help your animals is with an Innate Botanical Selection session where we offer botanical products to enable them to self-select and by reading their responses we can navigate a pathway to health, enrichment, and vitality. We work with the innate ability of your animals to select the produce they feel is most beneficial for them.
Herbs might already be part of your animals diet but when offered as self-selection they also restore your animals sense of freedom and confidence. The freedom to make their own choices and direct their own healing has a great impact on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
