It has now been over 22 years ago that this girl surprised me. We have been through a lot together. My part of our journey has been full of the most wonderful moments but also filled with many mistakes (at least I recognised them later as mistakes) and huge learning lessons.
Unfortunately Paradox’s part of our journey has been less fun and often frightening and painful.
When she was about 11 years I stopped riding her and my search for a new way of being with horses had started.
Not only has she many physical problems but also internal. It took a long time to find a way to make her more comfortable but now with the use of herbal treatments I have finally got to a point where she is happy to do work with me in the arena where I can help her to physically strengthen.
She is happier within herself and also towards others.
